Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs including advanced diagnostic techniques: such as ultrasound exams, laparscopic exams, endoscopy and access to MRI and CT scans.

Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures including bone and cosmetic surgeries.

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment such as Isofllurane gas anesthesia and monitoring the patient's vital signs during all anesthetic and surgical procedures.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality digital radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.  Ultrasonic echocardiology and color doppler exams are also available at our facility.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, blood and urine culturing, complete urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.  We advocate pet supplements such as nutraceutical and antioxidant therapy for many of our patients.

Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery.  We emphasize home dental care as a means to control peridontal disease.

Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.  We strongly recommend daily exercise and weight control for pets.  We do not recommend doggie treats and instead advise using acceptable fruits and veggies as supplements.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Boarding:  We provide both basic and luxurious pet boarding as a service to our clients at our Paradise Pet Motel. Our facility has cable T.V. and cozy quarters for our pets as well as continuous soothing 24 hour music in our air conditionerd quarters.  We have free roam boarding during the day where our pets are not confined to a cage.  In addition, all boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.

Bathing:  Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.  We allow clients to bath their own dogs at a nominal cost at our boarding kennel.

Emergency Care:  Please call our main telephone number for instructions for after-hour emergencies, 727-585-2007 or call directly to the emergency center at 727-531-5752.
